When the territory now known as Texas was part of the Spanish empire, Spanish cowboys - or vaqueros - developed the ranching industry in South Texas, including the various techniques and tools of the trade that came to be associated with the American cowboy. The cowboy hat, today a symbol of the cowboy is just one of those tools.
We worked with the premier maker of palm-leaf hats to develop the Vaquero (as well as other styles). Nothing understated about this one... 5 1/2" creased crown; a flat 5" brim with a pencil roll; a dark brown narrow grosgrain ribbon band.
Regretfully, hats are not returnable.
THESE HATS ARE MADE BY HAND, ONE AT A TIME IN COLORADO. WE MAKE THEM AS FAST AS WE CAN, BUT IT TAKES TIME. WE EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR PURCHASE IN YOUR HAND IN ONE TO TWO WEEKS.
